1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Meshlat mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Meshlat is a real-time, proximity-based activity discovery platform. The app may offer different modes (e.g. activities, local discovery, jobs, help, market). Meshlat is a platform that connects users. We do not employ users, sell or buy goods, or perform services on their behalf.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account
• You must provide accurate and complete information
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• You may not share your account credentials with others

3.2 Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for all activities under your account and must notify us of unauthorized use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Acceptable Use

4.1 Prohibited Activities

You agree not to harass other users, post inappropriate content, spam, impersonate others, use the app for illegal purposes, use it commercially without permission, or scrape user data.

4.2 Content Guidelines

Be respectful, provide accurate activity descriptions, upload appropriate images only, and do not share others' personal information without consent.

5. Location Services

The app requires location access to show nearby activities. You can disable location at any time. Location is used only while the app is actively in use and is not shared beyond what is described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Safety and Security

Meet in public places, trust your instincts, report issues, and contact emergency services if needed. We use automated and human moderation and may remove content or suspend users who violate guidelines.

7. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of content you post but grant us a license to use it to provide the service. The app and our trademarks remain our property.

8. Privacy

Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.

9. Disclaimers

We cannot guarantee 100% uptime, successful meetups, or third-party service availability. AI features are provided for convenience only. For Jobs, Market, and Help modes, users are solely responsible for outcomes, transactions, and safety.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app (if any).

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify us from claims arising from your use of the app, violation of these Terms, interactions with other users, or content you post.

12. Termination

You may delete your account at any time via Settings. We may terminate accounts for Terms violations with notice when possible.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms and will notify you via in-app notice, email, or by updating the "Last Updated" date.

14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States. Users in India retain rights under applicable Indian law and may contact our Grievance Officer as described in our Privacy Policy.

16. Severability

If any part of these Terms is unenforceable, the remaining parts continue in effect.

17. Entire Agreement
